    QualiMed Opens First Mall-Based Surgery Center with More Partners

    31 JULY 2014 – The QualiMed Health Network, together with new medical group partners, opens its first mall-based surgery center in Fairview Terraces, Quezon City. The QualiMed Surgery Center in Fairview Terraces is a 635 sqm. facility that is expected to further boost the healthcare service coverage of QualiMed in the National Capital Region.

    EyeSite by Asian Eye Institute and AlphaHealth Professionals, Inc. join QualiMed in the operations of its new Surgery Center. QualiMed is a network of healthcare facilities owned and operated by Mercado General Hospital, Inc. (MGHI) in partnership with Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI). Promising “Alagang Abot-Kaya”, QualiMed intends to make quality healthcare accessible and affordable to more Filipinos.

    The QualiMed Surgery Center in Fairview Terraces can serve minimally invasive procedures, where a patient can go home on the same day after a few hours of recovery. Other service highlights include multi-specialty consultation from a primary care team for gate keeping of patients; supervised dialysis for the duration of the dialysis sessions; dermatology and aesthetic services delivered by experts in the field; and a one-stop eye care center and optical shop through EyeSite.

    Other services being offered in the QualiMed Surgery Center in Fairview Terraces include Laboratory, Plain X-Ray, Ultrasound, ECG, 2D Echo, Audiometry, IV Therapy, Dermatology, Dentistry and Orthodontics, Annual Physical Exam, and Pre-employment Medical Exam.

    QualiMed’s advanced multimodality imaging technologies is provided in partnership with Siemens Healthcare. The partnership includes provision of aftersales service and training, and the establishment of e-learning centers and laboratories for the QualiMed medical team.
