QualiMed Training and Research Center (QTRC) is the technical training and research arm of the QualiMed Health Network. The first facility of its kind in Southern Luzon, QTRC is envisioned as a center for medical training and research excellence. Housed at QualiMed Hospital – Sta. Rosa in Nuvali North, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, QTRC covers a floor area of 608 sqm or almost half the expanse of the hospital’s second floor area.
QualiMed is committed to providing patients the best care and outcomes possible. As such, QTRC was established to help ensure that health providers are equipped with appropriate, up-to-date, and relevant technical knowledge and skills that are critical to providing judicious healthcare to patients and to promoting patient safety within QualiMed facilities.
Around the world, healthcare systems, technologies, and best practices are continually evolving and advancing. Through QTRC, QualiMed hopes to bridge this knowledge and technology transfer, from around the world to the Philippines, by providing venues for continuing education, comprehensive and industry-approved medical and technical training activities to doctors, paramedical personnel, and other healthcare professionals.
QTRC provides technical trainings, which include minimally invasive surgeries, hands-on workshops, and dissections, among others. Likewise, it offers lifesaving technical trainings to internal and external clients, for both medical and non-medical professionals, who desire comprehensive and up-to-date courses and workshops. To further spread medical knowledge and skills, QTRC is forging strategic partnerships with academic institutions, physicians and their research networks, NGOs, pharmaceutical industry key players, patients, and other concerned parties in order to achieve this goal.

Besides providing training and research services to clients, QTRC also offers its facilities for use by internal and external customers for their own workshops and events. The QTRC facilities include a 34-seater amphitheater-type auditorium (expandable to 60 seats as needed); a 10-seater board room for intimate workshops or conferences; a dry laboratory/training room, which also serves as a multi-purpose room; a wet laboratory with training stations, endoscopy towers, and anesthesia machines; and an observation and simulation room complete with medical equipment and simulation models for immersive trainings.
