QualiMed Opens 11th Healthcare Facility in Cebu IT Park
22 MARCH 2017 – QualiMed Health Network, the healthcare partner of Ayala Land, Inc., opens its eleventh healthcare facility at the Cebu IT Park in Apas, Cebu City. A 126-sqm clinic designed to provide primary healthcare and IOH services, QualiMed Clinic – Cebu is the spoke to the QualiMed Hospital hub that is being planned for Visayas.
“The QualiMed Health Network, with healthcare facilities in Luzon and Mindanao, has further expanded its reach in the Visayas thru QualiMed Clinic – Cebu. With capabilities to provide primary care to communities and offer health and medical packages tailored for employees, the establishment of this new clinic is a win-win proposition for Cebu IT Park companies and the surrounding communities,” said Aniceto “Jun” Bisnar, Jr., vice president of Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) and chief operating officer of the ALI VisMin Group.
“This year, Cebu will experience QualiMed’s “Alagang Abot-Kaya” at the clinic setting. Years from now, we shall elevate this to a world-class hospital experience yet at a price point that is up to 40% lower than premier hospitals. We are able to do this due to several factors, one of which is by enlisting the best local doctors and healthcare professionals to join our team. Not only are we able to provide genuine Filipino care to our patients, but we are also able to provide steady career opportunities for the communities we serve,” added Dr. Edwin Mercado, president and chief executive officer of the QualiMed Health Network.
Dr. Manolito “Nolet” Ferreol, chief operating officer of the QualiMed Corporate Health Solutions (QCHS), said, “The opening of our Cebu clinic is just the start of something bigger. At QualiMed, we go the extra mile to provide revolutionary processes and best practices to deliver our commitment to provide appropriate, accessible, and affordable healthcare to the communities we serve. “
QualiMed Clinic – Cebu is the sixth clinic under QCHS, QualiMed’s strategic business unit in charge of mall-based, multi-specialty, and industrial clinic operations. “Our Cebu clinic will be instrumental in expanding the reach of QualiMed AKcess Card in this part of the country. It’s a new product that will be beneficial to patients without HMO cards and health insurances,” added Dr. Ferreol.
Besides free healthcare services, diagnostic testing discounts, and worldwide insurance coverage, the QualiMed AKcess Card also provides discounts to medicines, dental services, and ophthalmological products and services. All these benefits will be given to member at a low introductory price of Php 1,500.
QualiMed Clinic – Cebu shall offer primary healthcare services, which include IOH Services (Annual Physical Exam and Pre-employment Medical Exam); Multi-specialty Doctor Consultations (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics-Gynecology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, and Surgery); Radiology procedures (Chest X-Ray, General Ultrasound, and OB Ultrasound); Drug Testing; Dental Services; Electrocardiogram; and Laboratory services (Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microscopy, Immunology/Serology, Microbiology, and Histopathology).
